Snow Leopard + NetbookBoot

Snow Leopard 911 dmg image + NetbookBootMaker + 4Gb thumb drive = portable osx for netbook

That is the magic easy formula I found out.

It is working on my Wind U100, and Acer Aspire one. it just boots and work all the way to desktop.
Just need to choose from boot from usb as 1st choice.

Here is the steps:

1. get Snow Leopard 911 dmg,

(google it, there are lots of links for that, it is designed for diagnosis Apple computers,
but since It has Finder and Safari built in, means Internet and File browser. and maybe add VLC and Xee for media browers)

This under 4G simplified OS is more than enough for netbooks.

2. Use a Mac to restore the dmg to your Thumb drive or usb drive

3. Get NetBootMaker (not the installer, not tried installer yet, but bootmaker works)

4. run NetBootMaker on mac, choose your usb drive or thumb drive, and let it do all the work

5. once done, plug in the thumb drive to your netbook, it should just work.

Notes:

1. some netbook, by default, sound card and wifi card may not work, I will update the solution or if you knows, post it below, thanks.

2. this solution should work in any original OSX boot image, as long the dmg can boot up any Mac,
the NetbookBootMaker should make it boot up any PC.

Itu adalah formula mudah sihir saya tahu.

Hal ini bekerja padaWind U100 , dan Acer Aspire One. itu hanya  boot dan bekerja sampai ke desktop.
Hanya perlu memilih dari boot dari usb sebagai pilihan 1.

Berikut adalah langkah-langkahnya:

1. mendapatkan Snow Leopard dmg 911,

(google, ada banyak link untuk itu, ia dirancang untuk komputer Apple diagnosis,
tapi karena Memiliki Finder dan Safari built in, berarti browser Internet dan File. dan mungkin menambahkan VLC dan Xee untuk browers media)

Ini di bawah 4G disederhanakan OS adalah lebih dari cukup untuk netbook.

2. Gunakan Mac untuk mengembalikan dmg ke drive Thumb Anda atau usb drive

4. menjalankan NetBootMaker di mac, pilih drive usb atau thumb drive, dan membiarkannya melakukan semua pekerjaan

5. sekali dilakukan, pasang di thumb drive untuk netbook Anda, itu hanya harus bekerja.

1. beberapa netbook, secara default, kartu suara dan kartu wifi mungkin tidak bekerja, saya akan memperbarui solusi atau jika Anda tahu, posting di bawah ini, terima kasih.

2. solusi ini harus bekerja dalam setiap boot image OSX asli, selama dmg dapat boot setiap Mac,
yang NetbookBootMaker harus membuat boot PC manapun.
